2007 Symbolism - Part Three: Politics

Dispensing with any focus on the illusory nature of political affiliation and all that nonsense…I am just going to look at the end causes and effects of certain key issues.

Terrorism

At the end of November 2007 the news hit that a bill had been before US Congress to establish the “National Commission on the Prevention of Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism“. Behind its convoluted content and ambiguous title, the document aims at setting up a commission in order to identify and define what is termed as “Domestic Terrorism”. The vague nature of the document potentially opens the way for Thought Crime as an act of terrorism. Cadeveo of Waking the Midnight Sun has a worthwhile and detailed report:

As of 2009 there will be a border control implemented between Ireland and England. Free movement between the two countries has survived for centuries, and has also survived decades of terrorism. Further; in separate measures, anyone leaving or entering Britain will be subject to electronic screening. In addition will be the introduction of a “unified” border force.

Power Consolidation

The North American Union - an alliance much like the European Union - between Mexico, the United States and Canada is still seemingly underway, despite any public notions that the fact is still up for discussion. North Carolina already has new driver’s licenses containing a ‘North American’ hologram ready to roll.

Fallen Down

In November 2007 the UK tax agency The Inland Revenue lost two discs containing names, addresses, personal information and bank account details of 25 million people. We received a letter of apology through the post a few days ago, this has gotten to the point of being a crazed joke.

Internet

Support for presidential candidate Ron Paul has been making massive waves right across the Internet. Such has been the power of this support that the relatively unknown guy has made it into the mainstream media.

Symbolism

The sword cuts with both edges. For every element of power and control, there appears an equal reaction highlighting the powerlessness and illusory nature of those who would claim control.

It’s not even a battle between two sides, but rather a demented conflict within a singular crazed mind. The global ego, birthed through a desire for power, wealth and materialism is attempting what it has attempted in every civilization of history; the impossible. Complete control demands the universe and reality to remain still. And that cannot happen. Reality is a constant dance of excited elements and aspects, and we see this manifest in the political system as mistakes, errors and “unforeseen circumstances”.

There is a coming clamp-down which may or may not be effective. But in either event, it is only a matter of time before the unbalanced one-sided negative spiritual energies which work through selfish single-mindedness collapse in upon themselves.
