Oh, and as far as Preludio vs. Prelude, Prelude is the English word for the Italian word Preludio.

As a violinist, I find unaccompanied Bach very meditative. My favorite, however, is Bach’s 5th movement, the Chaconne, from his 2nd Partita:

Thanks for pointing that out. I have corrected the title and the word Partita. But have left 'prelude' in the main text as I have often seen it referred to as that (it's that way on Vanessa Mae's album too), whether that is correct or incorrect.

It is a typo on youtube too, the correct word is: Partita. This one is the Preludio from Partita No.3 in E major, BWV 1006. (Please feel free to delete this comment)
