Sleep is the subject for this particular audio. Previously I have covered Theta Metronomes and Om Chanting audio, today I am going to talk a bit about Delta binaural beats. Delta is the state the mind goes into during deep sleep, the good news then, is if you find yourself sleepless or suffering from insomnia, then delta binaural beats may well be of some help. They certainly work for me! As always I have included a free download of an MP3, containing the delta binaural beat tone. I have had many sleepless nights, tossing and turning – when nothing works. How can I get to sleep? I came across binaural beat technology a few years ago, and eventually stumbled upon delta frequency. When listening to this audio, over a period of a few minutes, the delta beat slowly brings the mind down to the delta frequency. This is perfect for the restless, sleepless mind – because delta is the sleeping minds natural frequency. As such this audio can greatly help in getting some sleep.

Of course, as with other forms of binaural beats – the delta frequency can serve a number of purposes, other than helping you to sleep. One of these is increasing your dream recall ability. I must admit that I am not entirely sure of the scientific ins and outs of precisely how this works, but then most scientists don’t even know what dreams actually are. So I guess we are fairly even in that regards. I suspect that it has something to do with bringing the mind into the delta state whilst you are consciously awake. The mind normally only experiences this state whilst asleep – so the addition conscious awareness of this state perhaps gives the sub-conscious mind a stronger relationship with the conscious mind.

In any case, after a few nights of trying the delta MP3 before you sleep, (laying in a comfortable position in bed) you will find that your recollection of your dreams will become clearer…even if at first your recollection is only hazy. It will soon improve.

Delta Beats

There are some delta beats provided by Centerpointe, using the Hemi-Sync technology. These particular binaural beats are very good for personal development – as they aid in dealing with suppressed emotional issues, and increasing your sense of well being. These Holo-Sync beats – called “The Awakening Series” also function at the delta frequency. They are a very powerful technology and I can personally attest to how well they work. Although they can initially send you on a bit of an emotional roller coaster for about a week or so. But that is a part of the healing process. The Holo-Sync “Awakening” series are very good indeed at sending you off to sleep.

One problematic issue with some Delta beats is that over time your mind can become accustomed to them, and they lose their potency. The Holo-Sync series gets around this by containing a number of audio discs – each one “stronger” than the last. As you adapt to one, you can then move onto the next. There are also other delta systems about there that are specifically designed to help with sleep and work in a similar manner.

When all is said and done though, I primarily use Delta binaural beats to assist with those bouts of insomnia. I have found little else that can give much help with sleepless nights.     It’s actually a custom made mp3. If I remember correctly the audio was looped and then the entrainment added in.

    Yes, brainwave entrainment will make some people feel that way, it is pretty normal. The audio is taking your brain close to a state of sleep, whilst at the same time you are retaining your awareness.

    Some people are more sensitive to these audio’s than others. As this audio has such a powerful affect on you it would be a fantastic meditation tool for you.

    If the file keeps opening into your browser, simply right click on the mp3 link and choose ‘Save As…’ – this will download the mp3 to your computer…

    If I remember correctly, the file descends from Alpha down to Delta. So yes, the frequency does change.

    This is to allow your brain to more easily synchronize with the Delta frequency…

    This is possibly the best tool i have used to induce lucidity whilst asleep. After having tried several other techniques that claimed to work, this is best by far.. giving me 3-4 lucid dreams a week compared to possibly once a week before i came across this. thanks a lot

    I just discovered this a couple of days ago, I can’t believe I hadn’t come across it earlier!! I’m soooo thrilled! I have a very intens inner thought-life, finding it almost impossible to find peace of mind, causing difficulties in many areas in my life.     If you are having trouble sleeping at night, I recommend taking a bit of melatonin at night before you go to bed. It’s a naturally-ocurring chemical in the brain associated with sleep regulation and will definitely help you get to sleep, and stay asleep throughout the night. Just meke sure and give yourself the proper dosage. (Overdosing on melatonin is hard to do, I believe, but you don’t want to build up unnecessary resistance)

    Also, recarding improved dream recall, if this is true then delta binaural beats could aid lucid dreamers in recalling their dreams, which is a necessary step in discovering your personal ‘dreamsigns’.
