Different World Views

All of us have a different world view on just about everything. For some people, their different world view can be a very literal thing. Here is an interesting example. Most people are aware of the theory of continental drift; that all the continents of Earth we once joined together in a single large continent. In this theory, the continents are often shown as having being joined on the Atlantic coast, and you can see that the west coast of Africa fits quite snuggly with the east coast of America. Now here is an often unheard piece of information - the continents also fit quite snuggly on the Pacific coasts!
So - how could the continents have once been joined on both their east and west coasts? Well, below is a video which claims that the Earth is infact growing! Now bear with this theory, it is worth at least humoring. If you take the idea of a growing Earth into account and move backwards in time, suddenly all the continents fit together without any problems.
As with everything else - this highlights the everyday use of conditioned knowledge. These are theories that have been accepted as fact. The idea of the Big Bang - is still a theory, for example. Think about this, scientists can show that distances between stars and galaxies are becoming greater - it is assumed this happens because everything is drifting further apart. But how do we know everything (including us) isn’t shrinking?
When conditioned knowledge is challenged the theories always sound bizarre or unbelievable. However that is simply a reflection of how deeply the conditioning goes. The fact that the world is round was once a bizarre concept.
The education system perpetuates all these theories as knowledge, and there really are a lot off them.
On a final note; did you know that the oil wells that were capped off in Texas in the middle of last centuary - because they were running very low - are now once again full?! And did you know that the idea that oil is a fossil fuel is also a theory? There have been many oil wells discovered in areas where there are no fossil records…
Conditioned knowledge is literally all around us.
Here’s the video about the “Growing Earth”. Whether it is true or not doesn’t really matter - the point is to develop a questioning mind set, because this is what breaks us out off our conditioning.

QUESTION EVERYTHING—ALL THE LIES WE HAVE BEEN FED..
[ Quote ]Of course we should question everything… but be aware that what we may have been told are not necessarily lies.
A lie, according to the common definition, requires that the statement made is knowingly false… this is not always the case with our education. There is a difference between a lie and a mistake.
Long live science
[ Quote ]Indeed. The difference between mis-information and dis-information. One is deliberately misleading whilst the other is mistakenly misleading.
Very valid point Kelly!
