Entities Born in our Mind

Humans are far from the only aware beings in this reality. As individuals we reside in multiple realms, obviously our body occupies the physical realm, whilst the mind has the ability to exist across numerous realms simultaneously, many of which we access without even realising. Affording abilities such as intuition, prescience, telepathy - which on however small a level, most of us have experienced. Some of those other realms our mind wanders, are “spirit” worlds which can be accessed through meditative techniques or via other means such as taking shamanistic vines like Ayahuasca. Beyond this however, our mind is also a realm unto itself.

Within that individual realm reside all manner of non-physical manifestations. In that place - thoughts, when given sufficient power give birth to beings - these thoughts become “entities” in and of themselves. They reside within our minds, sometimes hidden and at other times they rise to the fore and can momentarily posses us. Influencing a decision or an action; “I can’t understand why I did that!” we say. The more power we feed such beings, the more potential influence they can have over us - until eventually our every waking moment is occupied by thoughts that are not our own. Such beings have the ability to transcend individual mind-spaces, crossing over to another individual. How many times have you had an infuriating moment with someone - only to later find their words (or thoughts?) playing over and over in your mind. This is how those entities attempt to take root.
In this manner specific entities can become immeasurable beasts infiltrating the minds of thousands and millions across entire cultures. Sometimes they need only begin as a simple meme perpetuated by pop-culture or media.

These entities ride the unconscious streams of mass-consciousness, tugging at the eddies and currents. The further a society falls into fear, the more power these entities have as they gain the ability to spread from mind to mind at an ever increasing rate. Eventually society finds itself descending to a level that mirrors the dark paranoid corners of the mind in which these beings reside. And at such a time the traits to which these entities represent become elevated to cultural ideals.
Conformity becomes the law through which these entities ensure their survival, to live in a culture in which to question is frowned upon - and in many cases simply not understood. These are the Shadows of cultural consciousness, and they weave a web of invisible thread into which we can become ensnared.
But in truth those threads aren’t invisible - they are present to all who are willing to see them. They form a tapestry that is slowly, step-by-step creating the future, and the hue of that future is not at all difficult to perceive. Freeing oneself from that web needn’t be a difficult thing - it is not about changing the world, as the world needs to face its own shadow before it can change. Freeing oneself only requires breaking from the conventions that we each individually set-upon ourselves. Take a close look at each of your ideals, assumptions and beliefs - how many of them are your own, and how many were taught to you? How many of your thoughts and considerations did you pick up along the way, a quote here, and snippet there?
Those are the ties that bind us. If we shatter them, we can re-build ourselves anew…and all this can happen in silence - without breaking “the rules of conformity” in the eyes of those around us. We simply fashion for ourselves a new path, one that takes us on a very different road to that of society.

What an amazing article, I have been thinking about this alot recently and have wondered what entities exist in my mind and how they can be gotten rid of. The way humanity as a whole struggles with these entities on a global scale is also intruiging.
Thanks for visiting my blog and for the inspiration.

Simply being aware of these entities in our minds is sometimes enough to send them running. Other times it needs a bit more work. For example you can start a collection of token items or small trinkets. One which represents each of the entities you discover. This puts them on show, and symbolically gives them a solid form. It’s one way of getting a better grasp of what each of them is about.
It’s a different situation for those entities that exist within the mass-conscious of humanity though. Perhaps that is a part of why we are seeing many of the current events unfolding in the world?
