Global Symbolism

When I talk about Symbolism - I am not just referring to the study of symbols, although that certainly forms a large aspect of what I mean. No, my main focus regarding Symbolism is in understanding the connected events of reality. It’s in finding that one occurance or event carries within it a symbolism that gives indications that it is a part of a far larger picture. Historically then, such a notion could have been called “portents” or “omens”. But unlike those historical notions, with symbolism it can be taken much further. In a way, it is like working out the picture of a jigsaw puzzle whilst only holding a few pieces. This is done by using a number of faculties; an example of a few of them would be logic, intuition, feeling and conscious awareness.

“Astronomers using a NASA space telescope, the Galaxy Evolution Explorer, have spotted an amazingly long comet-like tail behind a star streaking through space. The star, named Mira after the Latin word for “wonderful,” has been a favorite of astronomers for about 400 years, yet this is the first time the tail has been seen.

Galaxy Evolution Explorer–”GALEX” for short–scanned the popular star during its ongoing survey of the entire sky in ultraviolet light. Astronomers then noticed what looked like a comet with a gargantuan tail. In fact, material blowing off Mira is forming a wake 13 light-years long, or about 20,000 times the average distance of Pluto from the sun. Nothing like this has ever been seen before around a star.”

Mira. The Sun with a comet like tail.

Comets were historically always seen as signs, omens and portents of great change. Today we are less ignorantly-superstitious, but unfortunately at times we can be a bit ignorantly-skeptic. So let’s run with this for a moment. This is the first time the star Mira has ever been seen with a tail. In fact it is the first time a sun has been seen to behave in such a fashion. Carrying the idea of Symbolism - we could ask the question; “Why was this discovered at this precise moment?” Logically and semantically we would come up with a linear answer to that. But from the symbolical point of view an answer would take the past, present and future into account.

So doing that; what’s the general global feeling at the moment, fairly calm, chaotic, general anxiety? Well there is a lot going on:

So there are general patterns that can be found. Links between each of the events. What do your feelings say? What about your intuition? Are these genuine links - or just clutching at straws? Does the discovery of the comet like tail on Mira have any “omen” like bearing on these world changes? Is it all merely coincidence, or are these events all pieces of a larger picture?

Goro Adachi works in a similar manner to this, although he carries things a lot further than I personally would. Even still, there is a lot of merit to this style of thinking. It’s a way of building an image of the “big picture” whilst only having a few parts. It is an occult way of viewing the world, that is also mirrored by many ancient traditions. Modern materialistic thinking can give a very powerful boost to such a world view as it helps to keep our feet rooted. Unfortunately rather than assisting such a world view, materialistic mechanical thinking has largely supplanted our natural talents.

A part of conscious-awareness is in understanding both personal and global symbolism. In fact such symbolism and related synchronicity is one of the first things people see when they start to wake up from the world of “tick-tock”. It’s just one of the many aspects of reality.
