Helping the Energy Flow

Money is a symbolical token, it represents energy! It took me many years to realize that. Money comes and goes, some years we have more and other years we have less. But if money is energy, if the very notion of the system itself is a thought-form then there should be an abundance of it. And the truth is - there is indeed plenty.
Now, you may have noticed a little addition to the site in the form of a ‘donate’ button; let me tell you what that is all about…
Over the years I have learned that life is about energy. Now you can’t own energy, but you can make use of it. It is just like motivation; for years I kept saying to myself; “One day Marcus, why not change your full-time job for a part-time job?”, I said this to myself everyday for eight years. If I had kept on like that then ‘one-day’ would never have came. Eventually I simply chucked the towel in.
Yes it was frightening, but if you can trust in it then life has a way of creating circumstances to help you out. A few months later a job opportunity came along that allowed me to work weekends, and had I stayed in my full-time job I never would have had such an opportunity. You just have to put yourself into the right circumstances and the right place. When you participate in this energetic flow, you often find things will flow back to you.
The story was much the same with this website. ‘One day I will write all my thoughts down’. It took me a long time to put that into practice - because I kept holding onto the notion of ‘one-day’. I was working against the flow of motivational energy. So finally I simply decided to get on and do it. I am glad I did, because working on this site has been a wonderful experience, I have learned fantastic amounts, met many people and developed an entirely new outlook on life. It’s surprising what you can achieve when you start with small things.
Money works in exactly the same way - understanding money is understanding energy. You have to work with it. The more you allow that flow to work through you, the more your financial situation will improve. Three years ago I decided to set-up my own computer tuition business. I wanted to teach people how to use computers - to help them out, because let’s face it, there are a lot of people that struggle with even turning them on. That was an opportunity, and it worked out pretty well. Within a few weeks of that decision I was teaching three people, a guy who had just turned 60, the computer lessons were a birthday present to himself. A guy who repaired washing machines, and a photographer.
Teaching people is like nothing else. It’s a two way process, I gained as much from them as they did from me. Now, early on I was very self-conscious about my fees. ‘But people wouldn’t want to pay me, would they?’ That thought could have blocked the flow had I allowed it. I was constantly questioning my own worth. Each of us though has something which we are good at, we simply have to learn to value that thing - and once we value it - other people will as well.
That is how I see it with this site, so now I want to open the flow a bit further, and allow a bit more energy to come through The Thoughts as an exchange for some of the energy I put in. That is why I added a ‘donate’ button, over there on the top at the far right. If you have found my work helpful, enjoyable or rewarding it will give you the opportunity to donate if you so desire. I have a lot of plans in the works for this site, and a number of side projects that will add to it as well. Donations will allow you to support this further development.
On a last note; I didn’t want to simply sneak in the donate button without at least mentioning my reasons for doing so, because I have a lot of respect for the readers of this site.
If you wish to contribute any amount is appreciated. Thank you for all your support!

My husband and I have been talking recently about setting up a business that teaches people how to use computers, as well as troubleshoot hardware and software problems. I’m a little scared about starting it, but I guess I’ll just have to go with the flow and see where it takes me.
Thanks for your visit to my blog. I hope you have a nice weekend!
[ Quote ]Yep certainly give it a go! It’s surprising how much people highly value a working computer - and feel someone coming to their house to fix it (or teach them) is priceless.
It is a frightening prospect to start a business. It’s just the first step though; once you have done that things feel much easier. Just pick a pace to which you want to work and be consistent with it. I am sure it will be worthwhile.
