Housing Problems, Flight Cancellation and Micro-chipped Police

So the time seems to be approaching when we will all be microchipped. Today it has been announced that all UK Met Police Officers will be microchipped so that their location can be tracked at any given moment. The UK always seems to be at the forefront of these sorts of ideas. How long until the rest of the population will be tagged? Makes me think again of all the stories in the news recently regarding missing children - more mind games to get us ready to accept the inevitable tagging of all school ages kids.

Meanwhile it seems other areas are going rapidly down the pan. The housing market and the rest of the economy is getting worse…again over here in the UK many banks are no longer offering mortgages to first time buyers.

Over in the US flights continue to be canceled admist claims of ’safety inspections’.

I am not normally one to pay much attention to rumors, but I heard recently that a percentage of UK law enforcement officers have been receiving special training. The reason? There is an expectation that there is going to be a lot of riots over here very shortly. Anyone heard any more about this?

Like many others I have seen the ‘crunch’ time approaching for a long while now. It’s taken longer than expected, but now it seems it is finally here, and I can’t help feeling a bit down about it. On the other hand, I saw this coming years ago - whilst most people were happy in their short-termed vision, so now as events are finally starting to catch up with people they are starting to see what I - and many others - have long seen. But, my vision remains long term - there will only be a few years of this as things are being shook up. Then we will be entering a whole new - and better - world.
