Mind Programming: The Washing of your Brain

What’s all this then? “Mind Control”? Non-sense? Well, actually…no. Mind control is a very well established system of programming the mind and personality through a number of means; such as use of electronic stimuli, sexual, erotic or violent themes, hypnosis, music and many other such techniques. Among the many forms of mind control techniques, there is often a common theme which appears in the form of various recurring symbolism. It is a well established and documented fact, that the CIA have used mind control since at least the 1950’s. It is worrying to discover then, that mind programming is used on a subtle level on a daily basis, and affects almost one hundred percent of the Western population.

So what is the purpose of the washing of the brain? Good question. On an everyday level - as far as it affects the most of us, it is very simply about implanting certain thought patterns and ideals into our sub-conscious minds. For an example of this, take a look at the following image:

Subliminal imagery

What did you see? Two figures embracing in a sexual act? Look again, and you will notice that the image also contains nine dolphins. Even though you may not have picked up on this initially, you can bet your sub-conscious saw it. Mind programming can either be extremely forceful as in the MKULTRA project, or extremely subtle and subversive.

Mind programming is also about creating the acceptance of certain ideals as “the norm”. Branding refers to a claim of ownership cattle herders would use on their cows. Nowadays we see logos all around us, further still many people proudly wear logo ridden clothes. Just like with the herder and his cows, this is a statement of ownership. When combined with the powerful nature of peer pressure and conformity, the need for brand recognition shouldn’t be underestimated.

Most 3- and 5-year-olds who taste-tested a variety of foods said they preferred the ones in the McDonald’s wrapper — even though the foods were exactly the same, a new study finds. The study suggests that, like adults, young children are highly influenced by branding, experts say.

“This study demonstrates simply and elegantly that advertising literally brainwashes young children into a baseless preference for certain food products,”

Foods Taste Better With McDonald’s Logo

The programming begins at a very young age. The child has no reference to base their decision upon other than the stimuli coming at them. To all intents and purposes, they are a clean slate. For many children, McDonald’s is seen as a treat; so a source of excitement then. Do they like the stuff because it is nice? Or is it because through various actions; advertising, parental attitude, the need to emulate - that they develop a taste for it?

In either case - beware of the experts regardless of whether they agree or disagree with your beliefs.

Certain studies show that subliminal messaging works, whist other studies show it doesn’t work. How often is the original intention of the study organizer taken into account?

In either event, subliminal messages have been used for millennia. Many ancient texts contain hidden messages in the form of implications or the reversal of logic, and use emotion as the driving force. The concept of “sin” as preached by some churches is a prime example. When confronted in this way, the brain begins to process information with the right side of the brain, instead of the left. The left side of the brain focuses on specifics and uses logic and reason, whilst the right hand side of the brain thinks in generalized terms, and responds and acts emotionally. This form of programming works well, because the brain will continue to associate any message with the first emotional response it had upon hearing it.

It is that very technique the news media use again and again, every single day. Dramatic news stories presented in a trustworthy manner - yet which manipulate through the use of emotional triggers. Look past the simplistic black and white argument of “is it truth or lies”, to what is underneath the entire issue. Is there a purpose behind this methodology? Can you simply accept such forms of presentation at face-value?

In mind programming, the ‘victim’ becomes dependent upon a specific source for their view upon reality. An individual’s relationship with their reality is utterly dependent upon their perspective. How easy then is a perspective to manipulate? And what is the source of the majorities perspective on reality?

Remember, to the mind programmed ‘victim’ the controlled flow of information is paramount. Also I want to express that my focus here isn’t specifically upon the nature of the media, but rather its affect upon the mind.

Now, putting that to one side for a moment, let’s take a look at another vital force in our lives. Money.

Money

Money is the life-blood of our society, where as centuries ago people could survive with small local based barter systems…that is no longer possible. Because of this, money is seen as being essential to survival - more people actually worry about money than they worry about anything else. But what is money?

Money is a support mechanism. Something upon which we are utterly dependent; threaten to withdraw the support mechanism and a person will mentally crumble. Now, money is certainly essential to the running of any country, but is it portrayed as something it isn’t? In that context then, what is money?

The term “fiat” currency is also used specifically to refer to a currency that is not pegged or fixed to a mass of precious metal, and similarly the term “gold standard” is used to refer to fiat currency with a gold bullion exchange system, or to a parallel gold coin/fiat currency with a law that requires the fiat currency bank of issue to pay in gold coin.

Value of paper money

The inherent value of use of paper money is almost zero, but when it is measured in value of exchange, it becomes the manifestation of labor. It can then be traded for services or goods based on the exchange rate of currency from monies owners to goods/services sellers. Additionally, paper money has an intangible value that is directly related to the condition of need of its bearer. While a one hundred dollar currency may be inconsequential to a person with little material need, the same may be the governing factor with regard to homelessness, health, and even life for another with lesser means, hence, priceless. Simply put, paper money is valued at the maximum amount of consumable goods for which it can be traded, either directly or indirectly.

Fiat Money

Most western countries use fiat money - which is not gold backed. In essence the paper money is - to all intents and purposes valueless. It’s only value is in what its perceived worth. What then is that perception of worth based upon? Worth implies need. What is that need? The basics of living, or perhaps consumerism?

The flow of information influences perception. Perception is the root of mind-programming.

Fractional-reserve banking refers to the common banking practice of issuing more money than the bank holds as reserves. Banks in modern economies typically loan their customers many times the sum of the cash reserves that they hold.

Fractional Reserve Banking

Pure economics, or slight of hand? Opinions vary, depending upon how far people are in or out of the system. Yet again then, it is a matter of perspective!

And the rest…

What of materialistic-science, or the education system? What of the pharmaceutical industry? Politics, war, religion?

Can it all really be collected into a vast image of manipulation of the masses? Just who would be qualified to decide one way or the other? The systems mentioned above stand up to strict rational analysis - and they also stand up to ambiguous emotional analysis. But what happens when an individual takes a step back and looks at this picture with a well balanced mind. A view that takes reason and emotion in equal balance…with a strong dose of conscious awareness of the processes that are occurring within their mind?

Try it, and consider the following; How much of the reality we perceive has been manipulated?

Watch closely your own reaction to this subject. Ask yourself what your reaction is and why it is occurring in such a way.

Within all of us there is a line between our own personal beliefs, and those beliefs which we have adopted from the outside world. Can you see your line?

The process I went through in waking up to all this, was fairly long and messy. And it’s still on-going, truth-be-told. How did all this work out for you? Do you have any tips for surviving the constant cultural brain sabotage?

Great post. I believe most people have no idea how thoroughly they’re programmed. It’s truly mind-boggling, no pun intended!

Thanks Angela. Yep I agree that most don’t know how far the programming goes. What still really gets at me, is the amount of programming from society I see aimed at my daughter, and she isn’t even two yet. People really need to question these things more…
