With Silvia there is a "breakthrough" point, as it is often refered to. This breakthrough is dependent on dosage and the threshold varies from person to person. If this threshold is not achieved then a more subtle high is reached, similar to what u describe, but once you cross that" breakthrough" point, there is absolutely no mistaking it, you are transported to another time and dimension and it hits like a freight train.Salvia products vary from leaf to extracts (usually 5x up to 100x) to tinctures which are administered orally. Take one big hit, hold it in for 30 seconds and off you go. Start with a 5x or 10x and work your way up. Be prepared to be unprepared, trust me.

I’ve tryed seers sage 3 or 4 times now by smoking. I get a visual and auditory spinning of reality as a faceted kalidascope. It is both a fearful and enlightening experience. I can see that our sences and especially most thoughts do not represent what is really there closely at all.
I’m a beginner. I’m looking for some insight, perhaps I’m not doing something quite right here. I’ll keep going, but I have to say what I have read, both historically and recent experiences, makes me wonder. My experiences seem different. Please comment.

Thank you, thank you, and thank you. You couldn't have made it more clear that it is your personal pre-disposition that determines your experiences, not the plant itself. Thank you again!

Thanks. It seems to be one of those cases where both the media and many of the plant's 'users' (those on Youtube) entirely miss the point.

It's a shame, but then has it ever been any different?
