Smuggler Caves and 1066

I am about to head down to Hastings for a few days, a pretty interesting old town. It’s one of those English towns that many people will have heard of, primarily due to the famous battle of the same name. I heard years ago that great forests once covered England all the way from Hastings (the south coast) right up to Sherwood. That’s a good few hundred miles. Must have been a fantastic sight. The deforestation went on for hundreds of years, and now there is only road, fields and towns.

England is one of the few countries that has almost every square foot altered by human hands. You can drive for hundreds of miles in any direction, and you won’t actually find any area that remains untouched. The old English country-side looks nice enough - but it is all fields squared off by borders of planted bushes or thousand year old stone walls.
Anyway - Hastings is the destination, and some exploration into the local smuggler caves will no doubt be in order. I am very interested in seeing what sort of vibes and residual energy those have.
I will be keeping the site up-to-date, whilst I am away - but any comments maybe a bit slow in coming, they will turn up eventually though…so long as can find my way back out of those caves…
