I had this file before but lost it, I’m trying to redownload it and it’s not letting me (I liked it on my facebook and it says ERROR). Is there another way to download this?

Thanks for letting me know about the link. Unfortunatly I can’t remember what the original recording was called, and I no longer have the file.

However, I have updated the link to a new Om Mani Padme Hum download. It’s not as nice as the previous one – but it does have some embedded brainwave entrainment.

I will most likely upload a new Om Chant mp3 as a new post within the next week or so…

All of your information on binary beats is very informative. Can you please kindly forward me the direct link or name of Artist that wrote this track? Unfortunately the embedded sub-link is no longer available. It was very pleasant and refreshing ohm Chant with a contemporary modern approach therefore I desire to purchase this. Thanks for the links – there is some good info there.

It’s interesting to hear about the effects of MP3 compression on binaural beats. Nothing quite beats an uncompressed binaural beat track. Though in my experience you can get away with MP3 at 128kbps to 192kbps quality.

But that aside, there are many other ways to induce brainwave entrainment without the use of binaural beats. Monaural beats, isochronic beats and even white noise are very effective – and many researchers claim that these are actually more effective than binaural beats. The other systems of brainwave entrainment seem to be far less negatively effected by compression than binaural beats are.

Most of the audio’s found on this site – use a combination of all the above plus a few others…

Various methods of brainwave entrainment can be a helpful adjunct to meditation as well as interesting research for spiritual/mental development/exploration.

If you can find them I would also recommend any of the Synchronicity Experience soundtracks if you can find them (I’ve had a couple of the tapes for years and really enjoy them) These us a 3D holographic audio chanting.

One thing to note is that there is a considerable amount of debate about the effectiveness of MP3 (or other “lossy” compression methods) for any entrainment and/or subliminal audios. This is because part of the compression process removes harmonics that are not consciously recognizable.
