My take on intent tends to be based on the following format:

1. I ask myself if the intent is based on &quot;want&quot; or &quot;need&quot;
2. If the intent is based on &quot;want&quot; I don&#039;t set an intent. Why not? Think of the &quot;careful what you wish for&quot; proverb.
3. If the intent is based on &quot;need&quot; I will ask myself a second question. &quot;Do I have the will to see this intent through to its conclusion?&quot;
Why the 2nd question? Intent(ion)s are all well and good but if one doesn&#039;t have the will to make them a reality then nothing will come of the intent. One gets what one puts into something.
