Working on the Mutant Farm

Dolly the SheepSo I have been working in my current job for just over a year now. I only work here at weekends, leaving me the weekdays free to follow other work, interests and spend plenty of time with my daughter. At any rate - during the time I have been here, I have always wondered at the odd ‘vibe’ of the place. It’s not so much that there is a lot of negative energy here, but rather there is an absence of any real energy. I always found this strange because the place is situated out in the countryside, it is a secure park, but is full of grassy areas, trees and flowers. Lots of wild animals such as rabbits and squirrels run all over the place. Yet the place doesn’t have that feeling you get when out in nature or at the park. It is simply vacuous.

Then there is the other aspect of this place. England isn’t particularly well known for its wild animals, yet here there are exotic birds flying about, beautiful bright green and yellow colors. It appears they are parrots of some sort. Which is somewhat odd. There is also what I thought to be a white fox roaming around at night, lots of food for it here I guess. It turned out that it isn’t actually a fox at all, but a wild lynx which has claimed this area as home. Now if you know anything about England you will know that we don’t have big cats here. Well except for the odd few escapees etc.

And apparently ‘escapees’ may well be exactly what these animals are. Now here’s the truth - and it is kept fairly quiet around here - many genetic animal experiments, such as cloning have gone on here. I don’t know how I have worked here for an entire year and been oblivious to that fact; perhaps it is something to do with working during the times no one else is about. Anyway, quite naturally cloning wasn’t the only animal experiment around here. All sorts of other things went on with various animals, from monkey’s to rat’s to sheep. The building I am actually in at this moment was also used for various animal testing. Nasty.

It really does explain the lack of any energy here. I always imagined a place like this would be full of tangible negativity, but it isn’t. It is empty, as though what occurred here caused the very ethereal fabric to flee. I titled this post ‘Working on the Mutant Farm’, not because of the poor animals that were developed and altered here, but because of the mutated forces that created such experiments. There may well be a justifiable need for the ‘technology’, but then humans have always had the innate ability to justify anything no matter how twisted.

Justification doesn’t really cut it for me. It is very easy to focus on the physical, moral and ethical aspects of these things. But how often do people feel what it means on a spiritual level? The hole that has been left in this entire area speaks for itself. It’s not so dark as to feel terrible, after all, the animals are still hanging about. But it is more than enough to show that maybe humanity as a race are dabbling with far more than we realize.

Let us know if you see Dr. Moreau! Truly spooky dude. I have no doubt that and much more is going on.

Strange times in a strange place. “…innate ability to justify anything” is sad but true. And I guess we all have it in us… Say hello to Dolly ;)

I don’t know about Dr. Moreau, but there are certainly a few Dr. Jekyll’s working in the office… ;)
There were some rumors floating around that some of the genetic work for Dolly was done here. Not sure how true that is though…
